We have been working really hard on writing our names correctly.
Here Nayelly and Wes are concentrating on gluing down tissue paper on their names.
Here is the bulletin board I made for outside of our classroom. We are doing LOTS of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom stuff this week.
We read the books No David and David Goes to School by David Shannon on the first day of school. We talked about school rules and how to be a peacemaker or peacebreaker. We made a list of things on a chart, and then did a little craft to resemble David.
We have been talking about friends and families for our Social Studies Unit. We made house glyphs to show how different everyone's families are. I think this turned out really cute. We analyzed our data when they were all finished.
Here is some more of the work we have been doing helping us to identify the letters in our names.
